The organization should meet the requirements for post delivery activities related to products and services.
When determining the coverage and degree of required post delivery activities, the organization should consider:
a) Legal and regulatory requirements;
b) Potential adverse consequences related to products and services;
c) The nature, use, and expected lifespan of products and services;
d) Customer requirements;
e) Customer feedback.
Note: Post delivery activities may include measures specified in warranty terms, contractual obligations (such as maintenance services), and additional services (such as recycling or final disposal)
After many products are delivered (sold to customers or consumers), all parties, including producers, have legal obligations to implement after-sales services
For products that pass the factory inspection (such as spot checks that are not fully inspected), customers do not have the conditions to conduct testing or effective verification upon receipt. If the final consumer discovers product quality issues during use, the organization or its authorized after-sales service agency must also handle them properly
