Seeking a head of protein Mini-pilot department for big Pharma，based in Beijing

The position has direct line to President of R&D center and will be a member of company’s Common management team.

The department is responsible for the delivery of medium to large scale research grade proteins and peptides as well as the development of robust USP and DSP processes to CMC.

Challenges

Ø As head of MP, take overall responsibility for the department’s product quality and productivity

Ø Drive the department’s engagement and efforts in developing, implementing, and constantly updating relevant new technology required to R&D projects with state-of-the art tools in process development and pilot production

Ø Take responsibility of occupational Health and Safety in Mini-pilot



Qualifications

Ø Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering or relevant sciences

Ø Knowledge within USP, DSP and protein drug development programs

Ø More than 10+ year’s industry experience with process development and scale up of proteins and peptides, especially proteins from E.coli

Ø Excellent track records in either USP or DSP of protein production in a pilot facility or equivalent, preferable in industry.

Ø Familiar with current advancement and trend in process development, and pilot-scale technology

Ø Project and people management experience
