Key responsibilities

· Drive measuring and gating Sales software quality in a Software program setup

· Facilitate software quality impact reviews on program milestones

· Do Software OCR (Operational claim rate) estimations and provide input to product milestone reviews

· Identify gap actions based on processes above and drive required improvements


Managing software program progress (quality aspect)

· Lead software quality target setting based on quality levels and related checkpoints

· Consolidate overall quality status based on regular reporting by area owners

Qualifications


· Besides a technical mindset and a genuine strong interest in product quality, the ideal candidate is characterized by:

· Having a heart for quality

· Deep understanding of mobile phones or software development – 5-10 years of experience working within an R&D environment

· Having worked 5-10 years as Software Quality Manager (software asset or product) or in a similar Quality Assurance roles

· Practical experience of Product Software related activities (e.g. Pre-certification, End user feedback surveys, NREP task forces)

· Familiar with Software quality related processes (e.g. PR1 Sales Quality gate, Quality levels, Software OCR estimation)

· Solid project management skills and experience

· Holding a technical degree in Engineering

· Good oral and written English

Role includes
        Define a comprehensive Software Quality Assurance strategy for IMS solution integrating 15-20 network elements.
        Review requirements and design a specific network level test plans that fulfill verification of these requirements.
        Extend test plan design to cover regression and implicit requirements.
        Create E2E customer-like testing environment with 15-20 network elements and test functionality, capacity, reliability and performance from a customer perspective.
        Document release notes that define the capability of the solution, the test architecture and the test results.

Required Skills

The following qualifications are required:
•        Rich experience in defining SQA strategy and conducting SQA campaign for a complex system.
•        Excellent understanding of Mobile/IP/IMS networking architecture including LTE, 3GPP, TISPAN and protocols including SIP, Diameter, H.248, etc.
•        Strong knowledge of enterprise call flows provided to finance industry through Cisco and Avaya include call center, automatic call distribution, voice mail, voice recording, direct registration, surrogate registration, etc.
•        Expert at automation scripts for enterprise environment as well as a knowledge of the best tools to use for load generation. Strong debugging skills in Solaris/Unix/Linux.
•        Excellent knowledge at IP Network Architecture and routing Protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, RIP). Skillful at network design for IMS/enterprise and remote connectivity.
•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•        Strong ability to work well in a team and mentor/teach other the expectations of enterprise.
•        Strong capability of self-direction. Strong spirit of innovation. A visionary designer for a continuous quality and efficiency improvement program.
