SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and drive the end to end execution of x86 hardware appliance projects for SBU from product definition to design implementation, validation and all the way to production and sustaining;
- Collect and negotiate the product requirements with product line management team, translate the product requirements into product specifications and negotiate with ODM partners to get the product cost, schedule information, be responsible for the daily operation of the projects;
- Work as the point of contact of software engineering team, answer questions from various teams and provides the needed hardware engineering support to them;
- Prepare the hardware NPI and test plan and define product safety, compliance and EMC etc requirements.
职位要求
KEY SKILLS:
? Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
? A minimum of 10+ year hands on experience on Intel x86 processor based PC, or embedded or server products development experience;
? A minimum of 6+ year hands on experience on data communication or network security product development(e.g. routers, Ethernet switches, firewall, servers, vpn gateway), in depth knowledge to security network interfaces, protocols and chips;
? Solid analog/digital mixed signal experience with silicon debug and lab tools
? Strong mix of high speed board design experience and software understanding
? Strong experience with silicon and board bring up is essential
? Strong debugging and testing skills
? Strong organization and planning skills
? Excellent communication skills
