那就直译成change another day。

这样翻译其实有很大问题，

change是改变的意思，

但是change后面往往跟的是改变的东西，

如果改变另一天，

那就说不通了，

其实英文中是想说，改变"到"另外一天，

而不是改变另一天。

这个"到"字必须翻译出来，

所以要改成change it to another day.

这里的it指约定好的时间或日子。

the other day不是改天

the other day = not long ago，

意思是几天前、不久以前。

而another day意思是改天、又一天、新的一天。

活到明天就可以说live to see / fight another day。

例句：

The other day, he cut the grass on his samll lawn.

几天前，他才修理完院子里的草坪。

white day不是白天

white day 才不是白天的意思呢？

实际上 white day = White Valentine s Day，

是白色情人节的缩写。

还可以表示良辰吉日，

white 是幸福的、吉利的意思。

白天正确的表达方式是 by day，

夜里就是 by night。
